Q&A
» Who are you guys and what do you do?
JetTrip is a Teterboro, New Jersey based company with access to a fleet of over 4,000 private jets. This network allows you to fly in or out of 5,000 airports across both North America and Europe. It is our job to get you on the most suitable jet for your proposed journey. Our trip specialists match up your requested dates, destinations and amenities to a network of private aviation operators, who then fulfill your needs. Unlike fractional ownership, with its liability issues and out-of-pocket expenses, you pay as you go - as easily and simply as you would book a commercial flight.

» What is Private Aviation?
It's on-demand air travel. Private aviation flights only become possible once you, the client, request them.

» What does JetTrip offer?
There are two ways to book a JetTrip flight:

JetTrip JetCard - Designed for frequent flyers, the JetCard is a membership program that functions much like a debit card and enables you to book a trip as easily as you would reserve a hotel room. Available in denominations of $50,000, $100,000, $250,000 and $500,000, membership offers the convenience of prepaid flight-time. While membership is fully refundable, so there is no financial risk, it still offers considerable benefit over charter bookings such as first rights to all planes, discounted ticketing and special membership rewards. When your account is low, simply wire additional funds into your account - for more information on the perks of our JetCard, visit our section on the JetTrip JetCard.

JetTrip On-Demand - On-Demand flyers only occasionally fly private aviation but still want the benefits of what JetTrip offers. On-Demand Flyers still have access to our full nationwide private aviation network so you are guaranteed to find a flight that fits your needs at a moment's notice.

» What type of aircraft are used?
Our list of available jets is a who’s-who of jet manufacturers. You can rest assured that the best possible aircraft will be supplied to meet your budget and your needs.

» OK then, what type of aircraft type should I choose?
That depends on what you want done, where you want to go and what you're brining along. Our trained Flight Specialists can find the ideal type of jet to fit your budget and mission requirements. If you already know what type of jet you want or need, we'll make sure that it's there, fueled and ready to go.

» What's the difference between first class on a scheduled airline and private aviation?
The benefits of private aviation are: privacy, productivity, protection and proximity.

Privacy - since it's on-demand, only those that you permit on the flight are on the flight.

Productivity - scrap the screaming children and rowdy cabin mates. With the entire plane to yourself and your flight party, you can get work done as you would in your office. As the vast majority of our jets fly out of smaller, less trafficked airports, there are no lines, enabling you to get up in the air moments after your arrival.

Protection - if safety is at all an issue, private aviation should be given serious thought; additional time can be spent on ensuring the safety of your flight simply because there are far less people attached to it than with those that fly commercially.

Proximity - private aviation has access to a greater number of airports, so you'll never have to step off of a flight and drive hours to your final destination again. Land in the city of your choice, at the airport closest to where you need to be, it's as simple as that.

» Does JetTrip own the planes?
Instead of owning the planes themselves, JetTrip has access to a fleet of over 4,000 private jets. However each aspect of your flight, especially the operator's provisions, are held to JetTrip's highest standard for safety and quality.

» Why wouldn't I just book with the operator then?
JetTrip's network ensures that there will always be a suitable jet available for your needs, 24 hours a day, to and from anywhere you need to be. In terms of maintenance and safety auditing, geographic coverage, response time and diversity of selection, JetTrip offers more than any single operator or even fractional membership program possibly could.

» What about all those other private jet companies? How is JetTrip different?
Where to begin? Let's start with flexibility and quality of service. We ensure white-glove service and, more importantly, consistency of service, across all our offerings. When you book one day, you can expect the same high level of quality and care as you would expect from us on any other day. Every day. Plus, we fly on your schedule and are not tied to minimum commitments or financial penalties - fly when you want, we're ready when you are. Of course, there's also our easy-to-navigate website, our friendly and helpful Flight Specialists - the list goes on. But the best way to see the difference is to experience it. Give us a call today and see for yourself!

» I'm concerned about safety...
So are we! Visit our Commitment to Safety to see how we take all necessary steps to protect what's important to you and ourselves.

» Can I fly one-way?
At JetTrip, we try hard to match your trip needs to availablity but there will be times when JetTrip has to price a trip on a round trip basis. Give us a call and we'll see what we can do!

» What about international flights?
Sprechen Sie Deutch? Parlez vous Français? Certainly! Many of our partners have jets that are based out of Europe and they too adhere to the strictest levels of comfort, safety, and security. For more details, contact one of our Flight Specialists.

» Can I keep the airplane overnight or for longer period of time?
Since private aviation is on-demand, you can schedule how long you'd like to have the plane available for your purposes. It's waiting for you, not the other way around.

» Can I make scheduling changes?
Any time you'd like. From the moment you call JetTrip, an Account Manager is assigned to you and he/she will work out whatever changes you have in mind - even if you're already up in the air!

» What's your cancellation policy?
For trips that are cancelled in the allotted time frame, there are no charges. However, in order to ensure the same high level for all our clients, for cancellation after the cancellation period, JetTrip typically charges a $250 fee on top of what our expended costs are - such as repositioning fees, or the cost to return a jet to the airport if it's already up in the air.

» Is the price quoted me a complete price or are there additional fees that I should know about?
No trip is booked until you sign off on a full quote that is sent to you. This quote will be the final price of the trip in entirety - with the exception of additional costs for any last-minute changes you may wish to make, OR delays/deviations due to weather or other safety matters.

» When are you available?
When are you? We're available 24 hours a day, seven days a week - whenever you need us.

» I have more questions, who can I ask?
Shoot us an email at: question@jettrip.com - we're always happy to hear from you!
